Trish and David’s wedding at the Concord Country Club in Westchester, was one of the most perfect afternoons you could ask for, for group photos and bridal portraits. I love doing photos before the ceremony. The first look is such a great way to shake off the nerves and have a quiet moment to breathe and be together before the big moment. This was a warm winter day, when the air is crisp and cool, and you relish the last days of season that you’re still able to feel the sun on your face. As the sun got low and golden, a sweet first look as David tears up when seeing his bride. As the shadows grew longer, Trish kicked off her shoes and we got great, fun shots of the bridal party, and some really beautiful portraits of the two of them. Add some simple calla lilies, a dashing military father, and some really fun bridesmaids, and you’ve got a day to remember.
