Black, White and Raw Photography is a collaboration of Philadelphia based photographers Lori Foxworth and Paul Cofield. With a background in street photography and a passion to always create edgy fine art, their goal with wedding photography is to showcase the individuality and uniqueness of their brides and grooms. With this dynamic goal in mind, they have a unparalleled understanding of how photograph interesting, alternative weddings in classically beautiful ways.
For this stylized winter bridal shoot our goal was to show how a bride can find a stunning, timeless gown on a budget, easily order it on-line and make it one of a kind with totally unexpected accessories: in this case, a spike necklace, a red leather jacket and a glittery hoodie, which she’ll wear again and again. A typical bouquet didn’t feel quite right, so we had a creative friend make one with $25.00 worth of materials from A.C. Moore to tie the look together. With soft hair and makeup, we then took our model to 3 of the most popular spots for wedding photos in Center City Philadelphia, and focused on shooting them with a totally modern, fashionable and dramatic approach.
