Angela and Vojtech’s super cool Philly elopement was everything a non-traditional wedding photographer with a street photography background could dream of. The two were married at one of my favorite venues for small weddings and Philly elopements, the Philadelphia Wedding Chapel. It’s such a sweet space, and Stacey does a beautiful job with every single couple that walks through her door. Angela and V are planning to have a bigger celebration next year, but wanted to have a super private wedding in advance just for the two of them. They booked me for 2 hours and wanted to go to Broad Street for the big City Hall shot. Angela was so good at communicating her vision of what she wanted from the photos, it emboldened me to try some shots with them in a nearby alley. I’m absolutely obsessed with the alley shots. The two cuddled and laughed and had a joy and ease about them that was truly infectious. Angela was absolutely radiant in a gorgeous sparkly gold dress and their relaxed attitude was perfect against the gritty Philly alley. While Angela and V were hoping to keep their private wedding a secret, they were so excited they quickly let the cat out of the bag. Congratulations, guys!
