For Sarah and Shane, two neuroscientists who met as students of UPenn, The UPenn Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology in University City was the perfect choice for their Philly wedding day. Sarah and Shane began their day at the University City Homewood Suites where they got ready in their respective rooms with close family and friends. For their wedding, Sarah did her own hair and makeup, which was absolutely perfect, before meeting Shane for a sweet first look near the love statue at Locust Walk, a beautiful area of the UPenn campus. Although the impending rains put a damper on our photo stroll to the UPenn Museum, we still managed to duck into a few doorways and pause for some romantic dips along the way. The weather held off for a lovely ceremony in the Stoner Courtyard before heading into Lower Egypt for an amazing dinner and dancing in the shadow of the 12 foot Sphinx of Ramses II. DJ Ben Ostroff of EBE entertainment kept guests dancing all night and the beautiful cake by The Master Baker, was absolute perfect. Such a lovely couple in love, and an elegant evening surrounded by history, artwork and perfectly nerdy details.
